Kim Lobb was an executive at Discount Tire Co. that had an enormous impact on many peoples' lives, professionally and personally. When he passed away in 2006 I was asked to create a way for all those people to share their experiences and memories of him with each other. This site was effectively a simple community blog that anyone could contribute to. I designed and programmed it from scratch in PHP and even included image handling to enable people to upload and share pictures too. I never had the opportunity to meet Kim, but the quantity and quality of posts on this site are testament to how influential and important a man he was.
