I Do was born out of necessity. I worked as a retail sales associate for Bose Corporation for three years, the last of which I spent trying to find support for this application. As a retail chain, Bose offers an unmatched in-store demonstration experience. However, they didn't have anything to remind their customer of that experience, or what the associate may have recommended for them, once that customer had left the store. Seeing this sharp contradiction, I set about building I Do. This is a Flash based stand-alone application that allows an associate to very simply build a custom graphic proposal brochure highlighting the specific products they've recommended to their customer. It was a simple idea very well executed and while it found almost complete support throughout the stores from hundreds of employees all over the country, Corporate never opted to support it, and it remained an underground, DIY tool that I kept up at home in my free time. I've since left Bose, and have been doing annual updates for new and discontinued products. I don't know how Bose would feel about this living on the web for anyone to access, so I've chosen not to link to the actual app. You'll have to take my word that it totally kicked ass.
